We encourage outstanding researchers in all areas of Computer Science to apply for a tenure-track position - to begin in October 2018 - at all levels, in the School of Computer Science of Tel Aviv University.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. degree. Post-doctoral or faculty experience is an advantage.
While candidates in all fields are encouraged to apply, we are particularly interested in the following areas: Systems, Machine Learning, Computer Networks, Big Data, Bioinformatics, Cyber Security and Robotics.
The CS School is also offering a limited number of positions in the Teaching Track. We seek candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching in an academic, computer science environment. This position may lead to tenure at a later stage.
Candidates are asked to send their CV, list of publications, a research statement and a teaching statement to Ms. Anat Amirav by October 31st 2017, at the latest. We request that each candidate will provide 3-5 reference letters.
The letters should include recommendations from, but are not confined to, the PhD / Post-Doc supervisor and from researchers with whom she or he collaborated professionally over the past years. The referees are requested to email their letters directly to Ms. Anat Amirav at their earliest convenience, and no later than October 31st 2017.
Note to teaching-track candidates: In addition to the aforementioned application items, candidates applying to the teaching track are requested to submit an extensive teaching statement, providing information regarding their teaching experience and future teaching plans. Also, at least one of the reference letters for the teaching-track should be from faculty members who are familiar with the candidate's teaching skills.
