Good luck!

Hanukkah vacation: Next Sunday is Hanukkah vacation in Tel-Aviv University, so there will be no lesson on 1/1/06 . The vacation is only on Sunday, so there will be Tirgulim and office hours as usual (you'll have a chance to practice more the material we already learned).
Happy Hanukkah!

8/1/06

Office hour: This week my office hour will be on Tuesday (10/1), 14:00-15:00. This is a one-time change, and you can coordinate another time by email if this is not convenient for you.

29/1/06

The exam (Moed Aleph) will take place on Sunday, 26/2/06, at 9:00. More details can be found at the last presentation . The exam is without Homer-Ezer. Previous exams and solutions will be published at this site next week. Good luck!

2/2/06

A note about the exam: You don't need to memorize the full lists of functions from math.h and string.h which were posted in the tirgul website (in the handouts column) - you do need to know the functions from there which appeared in the lectures or the tirgulim .

9/2/06

Some previous exams: If you would like to look at some sample exams, you can find some below. They demonstrate the general structure and the style of questions (although there were a few differences in the material and structure). Recall that details about the exact structrue and material of your own exam can be found at the last presentation . Also note that it's more recommended to know and understand all the material well than to solve old exams (your exam is on what you learned in this semester).
Good luck!

Moed Aleph, Semester Aleph, 2004 (partially solved in the last lecture)
Moed Bet, Semester Aleph, 2004 (with a solution inside; note that the comments are not required and are just for clarification)

23/2/06

Last year's exams and solutions moved to the following link: Exams 2005 (of course you don't have to solve any old exams for your own exam).

23/2/06

A clarification following some questions: You don't need to memorize ASCII values of characters.

25/2/06

Good luck tomorrow!

12/3/06
