Title: Lingua Franca for System Design

Abstract:
In this talk we describe what challenges Systems Engineers face, how these
challenges are projected to the language space and what have been done
recently. While there has been a significant progress in a new system
design methodology and languages that could describe multiple viewpoints of
hybrid (discrete and continues time) systems, there is still a significant
gap to Systems Engineers' needs and existing tools. Several direction for
closing the gap are suggested.
