Title: Reflections on ICSE 2009

Abstract:
ICSE, the International Conference on Software Engineering, is the
premier software engineering conference, providing a forum for
researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the
most recent innovations, trends, experiences and concerns in the
field of software engineering.

In this talk I share my impressions and reflections of ICSE 2009 that
was held in May 16-24, 2009 in Vancouver, Canada. It had more than
1000 attendees in various parallel tracks and co located events
including research papers, workshops, tutorials, poster sessions,
keynotes speakers and others. In particuar I would try to identify
global software engineering community trends as reflected in the
conference.
