Title: Horizontal Exogenous Transformations

Abstract

Model driven engineering focuses on the model as the primary artifact. 
The rationale is that once there is a model, the creation of other products 
can be automated or semi-automated by applying transformations. However, 
not all models conform to the same metamodel, and not all metamodels 
conform to the same meta-metamodel.

I will describe the key terms regarding model transformations and will 
present an example of Horizontal Exogenous Transformations - migrating 
from a legacy model to UML.
