3D Snake

Alon Lerner - Eitan Fitusi

This a 3D version of the well known game. The object of the game is to navigate through space and eat (collide) with as many apples as possible, while trying to avoid collisions with the boxes and the perimeter walls. The game was written for a course in computer vision and was used to show the effects of the different depth cues, such as stereo vision, perspective projection, lights, rendering order ... needless to say, we got a really good grade.

Since then, a variant of the game was given in the computer graphics courses as one of the homework assignments.

The Game

The Maze

Alon Lerner - Noga Oron

The game is basically a first person shooter, without the monsters to shoot at. You need to get out of the maze with its spooky atmosphere, moving doors, secret passages and so on. We also wrote a level editor and complier, so that new game levels can be easily created. This was done as a graphics workshop course. Not only did we get a good grade, we also won an award for best workshop.

Unfortunately, since the game was written several years ago, it is not compatible with current graphics cards ... so until I have time to adapt it, I can't provide a link.
