June 2020: Sharan wins RECOMB "Test of Time Award"

Prof. Roded Sharan, Edmond J. Safra member (Computer Science) was awarded the RECOMB "Test of Time Award" for the year 2020. The award was given to Sharan and coauthors Maxim Kalaev (Google) and Vineet Bafna (UCSD) for their 2008 RECOMB paper titled “Fast and accurate alignment of multiple protein networks.”
The award is given for the paper published in the RECOMB conference 12 years earlier that had the largest impact on subsequent research.
This is the third time that Sharan wins the Test of Time award.
