Exon Length Distribution

Unfortunately, exon length does not have a geometric distribution. The length seems to have a functional role on the splicing itself. Typically, exons that are too short (under 50bp) leave no room for the spliceosomes (enzyms that perform the splicing) to operate and exons that are too long (above 300bp) are being difficult to locate. This leads us to search for another model for exon length.
