Consistency strength of a normal precipitous filter

Abstract:

We investigate the consistency strength of the claim "there exists a
normal precipitous filter over aleph_1". We try to find an upper bound
for this claim - a model in which the claim holds in the presence of
large cardinal hypotheses.  The lecture will be self-contained.
