probabilistic approach to multiple choice voting---research in progress multiple choice voting is the case when voters vote on a combination of issues ( eg p and q and r .or. p and not q and not r .or.----- ) by ranking all alternatives. problems arise when the winning combination does not agree with what seems to be what individual voters might choose had they voted on the issues individually. we use a propositional probability model to offer some solutions. if there is time we would also describe some probabilistic proof theory.
