Israeli Seminar on Computational Linguistics 2010

Computational linguistics and natural language processing are active research fields in Israel today, as well as popular areas of activity in industry. The Israeli Seminar on Computational Linguistics (ISCOL) is a venue for exchanging ideas, reporting on works in progress, as well as established results, forming extramural cooperations and advancing the collaboration between academia and industry. ISCOL is a continuation of a tradition that started in 1995 with a meeting at the Technion and has continued intermittently ever since.

This year's meeting will take place at

Tel Aviv University

(Melamed Hall; Room 6 in the Shenkar Physics Building)

on

Wednesday, June 16, 2010.

Extended abstracts (of 1-2 pages) are solicited in all areas of computational linguistics and natural language processing, as well as adjacent areas (formal and theoretical linguistics, psycholinguistics, information retrieval and information extraction, text mining, knowledge representation, speech processing, etc.), including work under way, provided that they represent recent and original work of general interest to our audience. Submissions of abstracts reporting on work pertaining to Hebrew or Arabic are especially encouraged.

In addition, posters -- especially by graduate students and industry -- are solicited for presentation during breaks.

Please send your submission by email to nachumd@tau.ac.il by April 25.
