Gur Wizenfeld Automatic Generation of Animated Presentations Abstract The problem of automatic generation of animated presentations deals with generating presentations of dynamic (possibly interactive) 3D environments according to user's preferences and tasks. Applications exist in many fields, ranging from computer games to medical imaging. The problem has been addressed by several works over the past decade, and a variety of approaches have been used. The lecture will provide an introduction to the problem, survey applications, and discuss considerations of the solution. The introduction will be followed by a outlining and evaluating two approaches: * Hierarchical task decomposition (Karp & Feiner) * Knowledge-based constraint propagation (Friedman & Feldman)
